Aim of the WG
- Address and support measures to close the gender gap within the field of architecture
Main area of interest
- Gender pay gap – women earn less than men in the architectural profession.
- Visibility gap – women architects tend to be less visible than their male counterparts.
- Female stereotypes in the profession of architecture.
Planned focus and key activities
- Understand what drives females out of the profession.
- Develop new strategies for balancing the gender gap in the architectural profession.
- Develop a report on Women in Architecture.
