The Architects’ Council of Europe is the representative organisation for architecture at European level. Through its 53 Member Organisations, ACE representerer interessene til over ein halv million arkitektar frå 36 land i Europa.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
ACE’s Mission is to
- Innflyting, gjennom advokatverksemd, EU-lovgiving & politikk som påverkar våre strategiske prioriteringar;
- Vere ein innverknadsrik og verdsett kilde til autoritativ informasjon for arkitektyrket i Europa;
- Fungere som den einskaplege stemma til arkitektprofesjonen i dei europeiske institusjonane;
- Vere eit effektivt representativt organ i nettverk for EU-arkitektar og praksis;
- Skape ein mogleggjerande praksis og regulatoriske miljøet for arkitektar & praksis;
- Demonstrere arkitektanes rolle i å skape eit verkeleg konkurransedyktig,rikande og berekraftig Europa.

ACE Governance
The ACE Governance consists of a General Assembly, an Hovudstyret, and a permanent Secretariat based in Brussel.
- The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body, comprising delegations from each Member Organisation. It convenes twice a year to set ACE policies and approve the budget.
- The Hovudstyret, made up of 11 members, is responsible for implementing the General Assembly’s policies and overseeing the organisation’s administration.
- The Sekretariat plays a key role in supporting the governance structure.

CULTUR-ARCH PROGRAMME 2025-2028
