Obiettivi e ambito di applicazione del gruppo di lavoro
The WG aims at defining some criteria, shared at an international level, to identify which modern or recent buildings/artefacts can be considered as Heritage and the most appropriate methodologies and actions can be pursued for their conservation, restoration, refurbishment and adaptation to new needs.
The WG will:
- create guidelines and recommendations for maintenance, conservation, adaptation, reuse of modern Heritage, adapting it to the new requirements and needs;
- contribute new and specific insights, as operating architects, to existing guidelines and documents issued by international bodies (UNESCO, ICOMOS, GHETTY Foundation, DOCOMOMO International, etc.).
