ACE je reprezentatívna organizácia pre architektonické povolanie na európskej úrovni. Prostredníctvom svojho 53 Member Organisations, ACE zastupuje záujmy viac ako pol milióna architektov z 36 krajín Európy.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
Poslaním ACE je:
- prostredníctvom obhajoby ovplyvňovať právne predpisy a opatrenia EÚ, politiky, ktoré majú vplyv na naše strategické priority,
- byť vplyvným a cenným zdrojom spoľahlivých informácií pre povolanie architekta v Európe,
- vystupovať ako jednotný hlas architektonickej profesie v európskych inštitúciách,
- byť účinne prepojeným zastupiteľským orgánom pre architektov a postupy EÚ,
- Vytvoriť podporné postupy a regulačné prostredie pre architektov & postupy;
- Preukázať úlohu architektov pri vytváraní skutočne konkurencieschopnej, obohacujúcej a udržateľnej Európy.

Architekti v Európe
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.

The Declaration places culture at the heart of EU policymaking and recognises its strategic role in shaping Europe’s future.

A Shared Commitment to Deliver Affordable and Climate-Resilient Housing for All
On 11 June 2026, the Architects’ Council of Europe joined Housing Europe, EUROCITIES, UN-Habitat and the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) in adopting the joint declaration “Delivering Affordable and Climate-Resilient Housing for All” at the New European Bauhaus Festival.
