Culture Moves Europe:  call for applications is open!

Culture Moves Europe is funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.

Who can apply?

The call for applications is open for artists and cultural professionals from Creative Europe participating countries, who are active in one of the eligible cultural sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts.

What do we offer?

The grant is made up of three flat rate key components:

Based on the feedback from past editions, all amounts have been increased to better cater for the needs of the applicants.

Accessibility support for applicants with a disability

Conditions for applicants with a disability and accessibility needs have been revised to make it easier to receive accessibility support.

Accessibility support is a fixed amount per day of the project implementation. It is meant to help cover the extra costs related to the accessibility needs, no matter the actual amount spent. This support recognises that people with disabilities often face additional costs to make their participation possible and accessible.

In addition, for extra costs for a personal assistant or a sign language interpreter, which are necessary to carry out the project, additional support is available, subject to appropriate proof.

When to apply?

The Culture Moves Europe calls operate on a rolling basis. This means that there are monthly deadlines, with evaluation periods at the end of every month during the application period:

This call is open from 1 October 2025 until 30 April 2026, 23.59 CET (Central European Time).

Applicants whose project has been selected will have 6 months starting from the date of signature of their grant agreement to complete their project.
