ACE es la organización representativa de la profesión de arquitecto a nivel europeo. A través de su 53 Member Organisations, ACE representa los intereses de más de medio millón de arquitectos de 36 países de Europa.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
La misión de ACE es:
- Influir, a través de la promoción, en la legislación de la UE y en las políticas que repercuten en nuestras prioridades estratégicas.
- Ser una fuente influyente y valiosa de información autorizada para la profesión de arquitecto en Europa;
- Actuar como la voz unificada de la profesión de arquitecto en las instituciones europeas;
- Ser un organismo representativo en red eficaz para los arquitectos y las prácticas de la UE;
- Crear una práctica habilitante y un entorno regulatorio para los arquitectos & practices;
- Demostrar el papel de los arquitectos en la creación de una Europa verdaderamente competitiva, enriquecedora y sostenible.

Arquitectos en Europa
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.
