Building on the work and outcomes of the ARCH-E project, the Architects’ Council of Europe is organising an online webinar στις 29 September 2026 at 14:00 CEST, focusing on Architectural Design Competitions in Romania and Slovakia.

The session will explore tools and practices developed to support architects in navigating Architectural Design Competitions (ADCs). It will present resources developed within the EU-funded ARCH-E project and now integrated into the ACE website and the ΚΌΜΒΟΣ ACE, as well as discuss how competition systems can better support architects and contribute to architectural quality.

Rea Dilhoffová, Slovak Chamber of Architects, and Mirona Crăciun, Romanian Order of Architects, will provide insights into ADC systems in Slovakia and Romania, highlighting their specific characteristics, established practices and current challenges. The webinar will also introduce the Architectural Design Competitions Community on the ACE HUB, established as a continuation of the ARCH-E Network, providing a space for continued exchange between architects and other professionals working with architectural competitions.
