ACE je reprezentativní organizací pro architektonickou profesi na evropské úrovni. Prostřednictvím svého 53 Member Organisations, ACE zastupuje zájmy více než půl milionu architektů z 36 zemí Evropy.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
Posláním ACE je:
- ovlivňování prostřednictvím prosazování právních předpisů EU a politik, které mají dopad na naše strategické priority,
- být vlivným a ceněným zdrojem spolehlivých informací pro architektonickou profesi v Evropě;
- působit jako jednotný hlas architektonické profese v evropských orgánech a institucích;
- být účinně propojeným zastupitelským orgánem pro architekty a postupy EU,
- Vytvoření podpůrné praxe a regulačního prostředí pro architekty & postupy;
- Prokázat úlohu architektů při vytváření skutečně konkurenceschopné, obohacující a udržitelné Evropy.

Architekti v Evropě
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.
