On 18 March, Europa Nostra will unveil the 2025 List of 7 Most Endangered Heritage Sites in Europe during a high-level online event with the participation of Glenn Micallef, European Commissioner-designate for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture & Sport, for opening remarks 🇪🇺.
The event will be co-hosted by Clausse Guy, Vice-President of Europa Nostra, and Shiva Dustdar, Head and Director of the EIB Institute, featuring contributions from the nominators of the seven selected sites. The discussion will be moderated by Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović, Secretary General of Europa Nostra .
Run by Europa Nostra in partnership with the EIB Institute and with the support of Creative Europe, the 7 Most Endangered Programme aims to safeguard Europe’s endangered heritage through awareness-raising, independent assessments, and €10,000 grants to support preservation efforts of the listed sites.
Since its launch in 2013, 63 threatened monuments and heritage sites from 31 countries across Europe have been listed 🏛️🚨.
