The Architects' Council of Europe, in partnership with the Panamerican Federation of Architects Associations (FPAA), declared its support for the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, with respect to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. With this commitment, ACE expresses its intent to advance these principles within its spheres of influence. The UN Global Compact recognises that cities, in particular, have the potential to make enormous strides in creating sustainable societies, where economic, ecological, political and cultural issues are integrated and advanced.
