ACE SIGNS A MOU WITH THE KOREA INSTITUTE OF REGISTERED ARCHITECTS (KIRA)

During the summer, ACE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Institute of Registered Architects (KIRA).

KIRA is a non-profit and representative organisation for Architects that established pursuant to the Certified Architects Act. Its membership consists of Certified architects who are licensed and registered at KARB (Korea Architects’ Registered Board).

The MoU will strengthen the relations and the collaboration between ACE and KIRA in the coming years and aims to rationalise the resources of the Parties and reinforce the capacity of actions, to encourage an international exchange of knowledge and collaboration, and to promote high educational standards and CPD.

In particular, the parties will renew talks aimed at concluded a Mutual Recognition Agreement by this time next year, to be signed during the UIA World Congress in Seoul (September 2017). To this end, ACE President Luciano Lazzari will be meeting KIRA representatives at the forthcoming ARCASIA Conference to be held in Hong Kong from 29 September.
