In June 2014, the Architects' Council of Europe became a supporting partner of the Renovate Europe Campaign (REC), an EU-level campaign aiming to reduce the energy demand of the EU building stock by 80% by 2050 by achieving a favourable legislative and regulatory framework at EU level.
It is the only EU-wide campaign that focusses exclusively on ambitious renovation of the building stock in the EU and is the voice that ‘bangs the drum’ for energy efficient renovations, taking a technology neutral, integrated and holistic approach.
As a European Supporting Partner, ACE will engage with the Campaign by disseminating messages and information from the Campaign to its extensive network.
