The first webinar of the BUSunited Community of Practice 7 will focus on gender balance in the design and construction industry. Taking place on 16 September 2026 at 11:00 CEST, the webinar will bring together initiatives and experiences from across Europe.
The session will present five European projects and initiatives working to improve the participation and visibility of women in the sector: Women Can Build, the Construction Women of the Year Award, Women Empowered in Construction, Boss Ladies, og Women in Digital. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the speakers, providing an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing women in the industry and approaches to achieving greater gender balance.
The webinar will be moderated by Giuseppe Perretti from the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW).
