Registration opens for the 5th edition of Decarbonizing Architecture
Taking place on 5 November in Barcelona, the fifth edition of Decarbonizing Architecture will bring together policymakers, public authorities, architects and industry professionals to explore how Europe can turn ambitious housing and climate policies into action.
Registration is now open for the fifth edition of Decarbonizing Architecture, dedicated this year to the theme “From policy to implementation.”
Europe is confronting two urgent and closely connected challenges: a severe housing crisis and the climate emergency. Addressing them together raises fundamental questions for the built environment: How can Europe deliver more housing without generating more emissions? What kinds of homes are needed as the climate becomes increasingly extreme? And which innovations in housing and habitability should governments and the architectural sector support?
På 5 November in Barcelona, representatives of European institutions and public administrations will join architects and industry professionals to discuss how ambitious policies and promising ideas can be translated into practical solutions and implemented at scale.
