The Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE) held its General Assembly this morning in Prague, where elections were held for the 2026–2027 term.
Daniel Fügenschuh has been elected as the new President of the Architects’ Council of Europe.

The General Assembly also partly renewed the ACE Executive Board, which will continue to represent and advance the architectural profession at European level, promoting quality in the built environment, sustainability, and the public value of architecture.
2026-2027 Executive Board Members:

EB Members: Istelianna Atanassova (Bulgaria), Carl Bäckstrand (Sweden), Elizabeth Gossart (France), Reto Gmür (Switzerland), Judit Kimpian (UK), Arja Lukin (Finland), Andro Mänd (Estonia), Eugen Panescu (Romania), Román San Emeterio Pedraja (Spain) and Diego Zoppi (Italy).
