There are about 550.000 – 600.000 architects in Europe, maybe even more if you consider those that are not practising as architects. Choosing a profession is not an easy task. Usually, the decision is made based on an ideal image that might only show one part of the profession. During life we change; our mindset changes, our situation in life and many other things might lead us to change our work.
The ACE podcast 'Architects in EU research' is a series of interviews with several architects who share with us their professional journey in the architectural world and how they got involved in European funded Projects on innovation and education.
The lives of the architects presented can provide inspiration for architecture students, showing the various careers possible with an architecture degree. They will also explain cutting edge research and its applicability and importance to architectural practices. Join us to explore the possible working paths in an architect's life.
