In Switzerland, &#8220;Architect&#8221; is not a protected profession. With regards to public commissions, some of the Swiss Cantons have established a system of registration based on professional experience (REG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professional associations in this context, such as the SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) fulfil the function of indicating professional quality and reliability.
