He highlighted four key principles guiding ACE\u2019s work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Housing is a right<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renovation must come before demolition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality must remain central\u2014even in affordable housing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation is essential to build better and faster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These priorities, he underlined, are essential to ensuring that sustainability, affordability and quality go hand in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-strengthening-quality-through-competitions-and-collaboration\">Strengthening quality through competitions and collaboration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcoming recent developments in Croatia, the President pointed to new architectural competition guidelines as an important step forward in ensuring transparency and quality in project delivery.
