In partnership with the EAAE, ACE is delighted to announce the Pedagogy Awards 2026<\/strong> and warmly invites applications from architectural educators across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards are open to all staff engaged in teaching within an architecture programme at a school that holds current EAAE membership or associated membership. Their purpose is to promote excellence and innovation in teaching<\/strong> and to share exemplary practices<\/strong> among colleagues in architectural education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous award winners and shortlisted candidates are welcome to apply again, provided they submit a new themed proposal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A prize of \u20ac3000<\/strong> will be awarded to the successful candidate or team as seed funding to support the research and development of innovative approaches to architectural teaching. More than one award may be granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The THEME<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In preparing your application, consideration should be given to the following theme: Alignment with the pedagogical aims of the EAAE<\/strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a>  Your application should demonstrate how your pedagogical proposal addresses a connection with this theme. Such as how you have organised the studio learning, innovative practice in your teaching etc. The official language of the award is English. Submissions can describe a new pedagogical proposal or demonstrate the development and expansion of an approach already piloted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Award can be attained by an academic staff individual or an academic staff team and the monetary reward will be used to provide seed funding for the proposal\u2019s implementation. There is a maximum of three submissions per school. As part of the conditions of the award you will provide a presentation at a future EAAE pedagogy workshop at a date to be agreed and\/or EAAE annual conference and agree to provide a written article on the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
