ACE jest organizacją reprezentującą zawód architekta na poziomie europejskim. Poprzez swoje 53 Member Organisations, ACE reprezentuje interesy ponad pół miliona architektów z 36 krajów Europy.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
Misją ACE jest:

- być wpływowym i cenionym źródłem wiarygodnych informacji dla zawodu architekta w Europie;

- być skutecznie połączonym w sieć organem przedstawicielskim dla architektów i praktyk z UE;
- Stworzenie sprzyjających praktyk i otoczenia regulacyjnego dla architektów & praktyk;
- Zademonstrowanie roli architektów w tworzeniu prawdziwie konkurencyjnej, wzbogacającej i zrównoważonej Europy.

Architekci w Europie
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.
