The European Commission and the Fundaci\u00f3 Mies van der Rohe have announced the winners of the 2026 edition after the jury visited the 7 finalist works. The award ceremony will be held on 11-12 May, in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At an event held tin Oulu, European Capital of Culture 2026, in the Silo built by Alvar and Aino Aalto in 1931,\u00a0Mr. Glenn Micallef, European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport<\/strong>, announced the Winners of the 2026 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture \/ Mies van der Rohe Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EUmies Awards Days will take place on 11 and 12 May 2026 in Barcelona, both at the Barcelona Pavilion and Palau Vict\u00f2ria Eug\u00e8nia. They will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
