The toolkit provides digital solutions for rapid building mapping, energy refurbishment assessment, intuitive human-machine interaction, integration with Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS), and streamlined renovation tracking. It enhances semantic interoperability across platforms and disciplines, enabling smoother collaboration and decision-making from planning to execution and long-term maintenance. Features such as augmented reality and digital logbooks improve visualisation and asset management, while active end-user involvement ensures the tools address real-world needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-architects-council-of-europe-s-involvement-nbsp\"><strong>The Architects\u00b4 Council of Europe\u2019s involvement&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Architects\u2019 Council of Europe played an important role in the BIM4EEB project by leading its dissemination and capacity-building activities and communication efforts. ACE coordinated the project website, developed its visual identity and produced promotional materials such as brochures, banners, newsletters and social media content. Additionally, ACE organised the final conference of the project as part of the BIM World Paris 2022 Fair, providing a platform to present the project\u2019s outcomes and engage with key stakeholders. Through these activities, ACE ensured that the tools and methodologies developed by BIM4EEB were effectively communicated to the architectural community and beyond, promoting their adoption and integration into practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-project-results-nbsp\"><strong>Project results&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BIM4EEB project has developed a comprehensive BIM-based toolkit designed to streamline and enhance the process of energy-efficient building renovations. Central to this toolkit is the BIM Management System (BIMMS), which integrates six specialised tools (Fast Mapping Tool, BIMeaser, BIMcpd, BIMPlanner, BIM4Occupants, and AUTERAS). These tools are underpinned by a semantic interoperability framework, ensuring seamless data exchange across various platforms and stakeholders involved in the renovation process. Demonstration activities were conducted in pilot buildings across Italy, Poland and Finland, providing real-world applications of the toolkit and valuable feedback for refinement. The final conference at BIM World Paris 2022 showcased the project\u2019s outcomes to over 10.500 participants from the BIM industry.
