As part of ongoing efforts to accelerate the transition toward circularity in the built environment, the Tallinn Business Incubator, together with the CiD – Circular Design Innovation Alliance, will host the CiD Tallinn Conference 2025 – Circular Economy & Built Environments: From Vision to Implementation on 12 September in Tallinn.
The event will highlight concrete strategies, emerging materials, and cross-sector collaboration driving the transition toward carbon-neutral, bio-based, and inclusive urban development. Through keynotes, panels, and real-world case studies, participants will gain insight into how innovation in design, architecture, and construction can shape resilient urban futures.
The programme features keynote presentations, case studies, and panels covering:
- Circular design for large-scale public infrastructure
- Future-proofing school architecture and education spaces
- Data-driven tools for disassembly, reuse, and local material cycles
- Nature-based construction and biotech innovation
- Collaborative governance and private sector engagement
Sergio García-Gasco Lominchar, chair of the Internationalisation & New Business Models Task Force at ACE will talk about the New Roles of Architects in Shaping Our Territories and Built Environments.
