The Davos Baukultur Alliance, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture and the World Economic Forum will host a breakfast meeting and networking opportunity for Davos Baukultur Alliance members and special guests on 23 January from 08.00 to 09.30, hosted at the House of Switzerland in Davos, Switzerland.
At this event, the Alliance highlights its efforts to mobilize public-private collaboration to address affordability, sustainability and resiliency issues in cities and local communities since its establishment in January 2023.
In an era where concerns around affordability, sustainability, and social prosperity are paramount to communities globally, the true costs and benefits of shaping high-quality places are under intense scrutiny. The Baukultur Breakfast will provide valuable insights into the real costs and benefits of high-quality Baukultur, encouraging an open dialogue around its value proposition in today’s world.

– H.E. Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan, sharing insights into plans for the groundbreaking Gelephu Mindfulness City,” developed in collaboration with BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Alliance member Arup.
– Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme), addressing the vital connection between land policy, affordable housing and inclusive places.
