The Architects\u2019 Council of Europe (ACE) is proud to take part in SHIFT<\/strong>, a two-day programme of workshops taking place at the Speakers\u2019 Corner, Arsenale<\/strong>, during the Biennale Architettura 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the GENS Public Programme<\/strong>, SHIFT explores a crucial question for the built environment:
How must architecture and construction evolve in the face of the climate crisis?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Direction in Architecture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHIFT sends a powerful message: Modern architecture has failed to meet today\u2019s environmental and social challenges.<\/em>
It is time to SHIFT \u2014 toward resilient, climate-conscious, and people-centred building practices<\/strong> that draw from local knowledge, empower regional value chains, and listen to both people and the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
