With the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the Architects\u2019 Council of Europe is launching today a new podcast series\u00a0Archi\u2019Voices: European reflections on exporting services.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this series, we bring together the perspectives of five architects from Germany, Greece, Poland, France, and Malta, sharing their journeys of taking architectural services beyond their borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Archi\u2019Voices \u2013 European Reflections on Exporting Services, a podcast series by the Architects\u2019 Council of Europe, captures the journey of European architects as they exand their services internationally. This experience, which carries the challenge of taking architectural expertise beyond familiar borders, makes the architectural practice a different method that need to be analysed and balanced. <\/em> In the different episodes, the architects cover several aspects of this process, such as navigating different regulations and codes, adapting to unfamiliar ways of living, or reconciling cultural differences. These obstacles require not only technical skills but also the ability to communicate effectively across language barriers and cultural divides. Every international project becomes a unique experience, demanding not just technical expertise but also diplomacy, cultural awareness, and adaptability.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite these challenges, working internationally presents immense opportunities for growth and professional enrichment. Collaborating with international teams fosters creativity and innovation, as diverse viewpoints come together to solve complex problems. Architects who take on this task become more than just designers\u2014they become ambassadors of their craft, blending respect for local traditions with their own creative vision.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stories shared in “Archi\u2019Voices” highlight the experience of 5 European architectural practices, with diverse resources, sizes, and exporting destinations. However, all of them share common challenges that are reflected in the various episodes of the project.  In this way, the podcasts become a useful tool for those who want to start this journey<\/em>” highlighted Sergio Garc\u00eda-Gasco, Chair of the ACE IBM task force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
