Η ACE είναι η αντιπροσωπευτική οργάνωση του αρχιτεκτονικού επαγγέλματος σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Μέσω της 53 Member Organisations, Ο ACE αντιπροσωπεύει τα συμφέροντα άνω του μισού εκατομμυρίου αρχιτεκτόνων από 36 χώρες της Ευρώπης.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
Η αποστολή του Ace είναι:
- Να επηρεάσουν, μέσω της υπεράσπισης, τη νομοθεσία και τις πολιτικές της ΕΕ που επηρεάζουν τις στρατηγικές μας προτεραιότητες·
- Να αποτελούν σημαντική και αξιόλογη πηγή έγκυρων πληροφοριών για το αρχιτεκτονικό επάγγελμα στην Ευρώπη·
- Ενεργεί ως η ενιαία φωνή του αρχιτεκτονικού επαγγέλματος στα ευρωπαϊκά θεσμικά όργανα·
- Να είναι ένας αποτελεσματικά δικτυωμένος αντιπροσωπευτικός φορέας για αρχιτέκτονες και πρακτικές της ΕΕ·
- Δημιουργία ευνοϊκών πρακτικών και κανονιστικού περιβάλλοντος για αρχιτέκτονες και πρακτικές·
- Επίδειξη του ρόλου των αρχιτεκτόνων στη δημιουργία μιας πραγματικά ανταγωνιστικής, εμπλουτιστικής και βιώσιμης Ευρώπης.

Αρχιτέκτονες στην Ευρώπη
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.
