Die NEBiNAR platform has launched its new website – a hub for architects, designers, urban planners, public officials, and activists to connect, learn, and exchange knowledge about the New European Bauhaus (NEB).
NEBiNAR is an open-source pilot program inspired by East West Central. Re-building Europe, initiated by the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE). It explores the meaning and potential of the European Commission’s New European Bauhaus initiative, with a special focus on engaging creative professionals in Europe’s East.
The programme offers a series of online lectures and workshops, targeting participants from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, and Ireland.
Invited speakers include practicing architects, academics, researchers, and cultural professionals who will reflect on the NEB principles: Beautiful, Sustainable, Together. Topics span architecture, urbanism, landscape, interior design, spatial arts, crafts, and other disciplines shaping the built environment—particularly in the context of the European Green transformation as a cultural movement.
While the programme is designed for young architects and architecture students, it remains open to anyone interested in NEB’s vision.
The initiative is coordinated under the supervision of ACE, in collaboration with architectural universities and organisations across Europe.
Join the NEBiNAR community, enhance your skills, and help shape a more beautiful and sustainable future.
