ACE ist die repräsentative Organisation für den Architektenberuf auf europäischer Ebene. Durch seine 53 Member Organisations, ACE vertritt die Interessen von über einer halben Million Architekten aus 36 Ländern in Europa.
Its membership includes the regulatory and professional representative bodies from all EU Member States; 6 Observer Members from EU Accession Countries and a potential candidate country (Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova and Kosovo); as well as Members with special status (the UK, Switzerland and Norway).
Aufgabe der ACE ist es,
- Einflussnahme auf die EU-Rechtsvorschriften und -Maßnahmen, die sich auf unsere strategischen Prioritäten auswirken, durch Interessenvertretung;
- eine einflussreiche und geschätzte Quelle maßgeblicher Informationen für den Architektenberuf in Europa sein;
- die einheitliche Stimme des Architektenberufs in den europäischen Institutionen zu sein;
- ein wirksam vernetztes Vertretungsorgan für EU-Architekten und -Praktiken sein;
- Schaffung eines förderlichen Praxis- und Regelungsumfelds für Architekten &-Praktiken;
- Demonstrieren Sie die Rolle der Architekten bei der Schaffung eines wirklich wettbewerbsfähigen, bereichernden und nachhaltigen Europas.

Architekten in Europa
According to ACE 2024 Sector study, there are 580 000 architects across 30 European countries, marking an 8% increase over the past decade. The profession is approaching gender parity, women now represent 45% of professionals. Most architects work full-time, and a significant portion, 46%, are practice owners or principals, many operating as small, independent firms. More work as Principals now compared with 10 years ago.
